Doesn't TT also hate Vin Scully? Would he call the games?

Vin Scully is bad but he's still far from the worst. The Sox already have a ready-made worst booth to choose.

Lets not forget good ole Thom Brennaman.

Yes, he and Hrabosky are both excellent choices.

i think you're in teh same camp as me on this...i don't hate vin scully at all. i just think he's a senile boring old man as an announcer, and, for whatever reason, the whole baseball world pretends he isn't.

To be fair, we are usually leading by 8 runs after the 8th inning.

Apparently he accidentally called Clayton Kershaw "Sandy Koufax" the other day and everyone on Twitter seemed to love it besides me.

He's always been boring and bad. People in baseball love tradition and longevity, that's why everyone loves him. The Dodgers have basically had only 2 broadcasters since radio was invented, he and Red Barbor and that's pretty cool, but he's sucks and he's always sucked. A one man booth is horsefeathers.

Yeah, the guy was one of the greats, and has a great voice, but most of his announcing is just rambling nonsense at this point and so many people act like he's still at the top of his game. The guy should have retired a long time ago.

CUBS WIN.
