For Dylan Bundy. Or some other PTBNL. But I want Bundy. Or Gausman.

Cubs' Edgar Olmos: Dealt to Orioles for PTBNL

by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com

(1 hr ago) Olmos was traded to the Orioles on Thursday for a player to be named later, Eduardo Encina of the Baltimore Sun reports.

Olmos has bounced around a fair bit this offseason, being claimed and designated for assignment by both the Orioles and the Cubs before ultimately landing back in Baltimore in a minor trade Thursday. The 25-year-old left-hander allowed three earned runs in 3.1 innings of work with the Cubs this spring before being reassigned to minor league camp. Olmos will likely be a depth option in the bullpen at either Double or Triple-A this season.

If the Cubs receive anything other than a communicable disease or a grand jury indictment in exchange for Olmos, they should consider it a win.

The flu is nothing to sneeze at.

This is a weird bump. Anyway, I thought it was a recent trade before I looked at the date of the first post. I thought maybe Theo felt bad about the trade given Jake's dongstomp pitching performance last night and threw them a bone.

Theo already threw them his bone.

It was the 8th thread on the Transactions page. Not really a "bump."

It was a dumb joke tagged onto an insignificant transaction from a month ago. I don't really understand why you are taking exception to that being called a bump, because it definitely was.

Besides, that would be kind of like giving a homeless guy a mostly eaten chicken salad sandwich because you ran over his dog.

The real news here is that someone doesn't use active topics.

Active topics is gross. Too much social. I don't want to know about nhl, nba, got, and your local pta

Exactly. I use this place to keep abreast of Cubs and general MLB info without having to use any of the MLB.com sites. I don't want to have to dig through a boatload of posts concerning crap I simply could not care less about.

And if I want to make a terrible joke on a thread that is two months old, and still the 8th post from the top in a forum, then I want to be able to do so in peace.

Again, it would be really cool if that was given it's own space on every page like it used to rather than having to click on the Quick Links dropdown.

THe drop what now? I'm talking about the orange "bell" icons that zap you straight to the first unread post of each topic
