As if baseball hadn't been emotional enough lately, here's a story about Matt Szczur saving a little girls life with a bone marrow donation...

Apologies if this has been post earlier. I've never seen it, though.

As if the 2016 Cubs team couldn't be more likable...

Stumbled onto this on facebook and didn't recall seeing it posted before. I haven't read a word, so I have no idea if it's good. Can't right now.

Maybe someone else can let us know if it's worth reading

Definitely worth reading, IMO. Nothing earth-shattering, but a pretty good overview of the process of building the Cubs since Theo was hired.

It's like they don't even care about who Brandon is.

Do you not see the watermark? Tim is going to have nsbb blocked at your work if you're not careful

HA! I didn't see it actually. I didn't know Getty made gifs...

I'm leaving it. If NSBB gets taking down over a monkey on a keyboard gif, that would be high comedy.

Rizzo: .292/.386/.549/.935

Bryant: .293/.387/.560/.946

And if we just look OBP, Dex is .388 and Zobrist is .385.

B2B saw that article a couple of years ago and disappeared out of disappointment for not posting it when it was new.

Things to be thankful for, following the extension of Theo and co.: Ken Rosenthal and Jim Hendry have no input on talent evaluations for the Chicago Cubs National League Baseball Club.

Looking on my phone and read from afar ( my arm outstretched out of the sight if my sleeping 3 year old) that it was a Fangraphs article. Boy talk about an abrupt surprise.

Huh? Fangraphs?

Edit - OH, nm. I get it. Carry on.

I like that later in that column he said Brett Wallace was the next Dustin Pedroia
