1(773)404-2827, you can call them yourself [expletive]. I spoke with Melanie.

and i'm pretty sure melanie isn't actually in wrigley field is what i'm saying, [expletive].

Oh well that is certainly something important to, isn't it. That's the phone number to Wrigley field. A Robot Pat Hughes said Welcome to Wrigley Field when I called.

I'm pretty sure Pat Hughes is a human being, not a robot.

BS. Google "cubs single game tickets sale date" and at least the first 3 links have that info.

I know, I googled it too after I called. It wasn't up there last week, so I called this morning. Believe what you want.

that's great, but you still probably didn't actually call wrigley field

I think you are missing the bigger point here.

i'm not. it's very weird to call for that information unless you're 80 years old. especially if you have thousands of posts on an internet message board. that's the biggest point.

the other point is that what i'm saying about wrigley field isn't important, which i acknowledged when i said JUST SAYING jeez. i just thought it was funny to point out in addition to what is already weird/funny about this.

I think he was using Wrigley as a metonymy doe.

this thread is fantastic but has anyone found the single game prices yet?

It's ok, I'll get to the bottom of this. I sent a letter to Wrigley Field this morning, should hear back within six weeks.

This is the info they gave to STH. I'm not sure how it works for single game since IIRC they've been doing dynamic pricing, but it should give an idea at least.

To anyone who missed it, there's a pre-sale today that started at 10 for season ticket holders, but then at noon for the general public.

If you're looking for opening day tickets or some other high demand game, it might be wise to suck it up and pay the pre-sale premium.

Fans may once again participate in the MasterCard Presale prior to the general on-sale date. Starting Tuesday, February 23, at noon CST, single game tickets will be available at www.cubs.com for a 20 percent premium, or a 15 percent premium for fans using a MasterCard.

"Following a deep postseason run and exciting offseason, there is tremendous demand to watch the Cubs this year," said Colin Faulkner, senior vice president of sales and marketing, Chicago Cubs. "Between impressive renewal rates among our largest Season Ticket Holder base in team history, to early sales of our multi-game ticket packs, we have seen many of our popular games sell quickly already. Fans will want to secure tickets to their must-have dates as soon as possible through our general on-sale and MasterCard Presale."

This is not a drill. THIS THING STARTS IN AN HOUR.

For a 15% premium and 20% premium...so you have to pay more to get tickets early if I'm understanding that right?

Mods, maybe update the thread title to let people know about the pre-sale so they don't think the first page of BS is all that's in here?

That's correct. I think they've been doing this for years now, though.

Just picked up Friday and Saturday Cards tickets for the August series.

I hate, hate, hate paying the premium, but coming in from Arkansas, it's nice to have the tickets in hand ahead of time.

I'm in a similar situation - in town for Memorial Day weekend. I already had group tickets for a family event on Saturday against PHL, and just bucked up through the premium sale to grab seats to Monday's game against LA.

I have like no money due to the birth of twins, so I am dreading knowing that in about an hour any game i want to go to will have to be bought at a premium because i cannot afford to purchase right now. Was thinking of possibly purchasing some of those super cheap April games.
