It's weird, my understanding is that Cards fans are generally worried about the offense, but for me I look at that rotation behind Flaherty and that's where I see cause for concern. It's sort of like the Cubs' bullpen where the sheer number of options probably means that it will turn out fine, but looking at the individual names I don't see anyone besides Mikolas who I would say is more likely to be good than bad.

Their offense and defense I think have major issues and red flags. The offense really lacks impact. If Mikolas is legit hurt the rotation could be a mess with Martinez and Reyes always hurt and old man Waino. I think they’re the third best team in the division right now and they’re closer to 4th and the Brewers than us and the Reds at 1/2.

If your baseball team had just been able to crap out competent rotations pretty much regardless of talent level for a couple of decades straight, you probably would stop worrying about that at some point.

Looks like he should have stayed in the pen.

Excellent. I don't want him hurt. I just want him to suck.

Weird. Sounds like he has the yips if he isn’t masking an injury.

“The sensation I have throwing a baseball now just isn’t consistent with what it is when I know I’m good,” Miller said.

Miller struggles to describe the feeling he experiences when releasing the ball. It’s not pain. There’s no burning or tingling. It simply doesn’t feel right....

That outing followed a wild Grapefruit League debut Friday during which Miller allowed one run in one inning while hitting two batters, including Tim Tebow....

Miller said his arm and shoulder feel fine and aren’t experiencing weakness. He spent Tuesday undergoing tests.

“In some ways it’s good that there’s no clear-cut pain,” Miller said. “In other ways it’s frustrating because, what is it?”

I would love to see Yadi end his career with another team after getting into a dispute about properly being paid with the Cardinals lol.

Please end your career with the shitty Marlins.

Purchased in 1995 for $147m, now worth a little shy of $2b. Just stop talking.

Risk-taking job creators deserve such returns with no scrutiny. They'd much rather you just said thank you, and went on your way.

Bad news, guys. Jack Flaherty horsefeathering rules.

We have an out. We can just assume Dexter Fowler is the reason anyone in that clubhouse is a good guy regardless of whether it's actually true.
