What do they call them now?

I believe the preferred nomenclature is sobriety challenged.

I prefer drunks or boozehounds

i definitely think of boozehounds as distinct from winos. winos are saaaaaad and have serious problems. boozehounds just really enjoy booze (and may well be on track to become winos, but they aren't there yet).

yeah, when i think of a wino, i think of a homeless guy drinking md 20/20 or something

You never forget your first.

When you're 9 and you grew up in rural Michigan you don't. The memory is indelible.

You're 45 or less?

Would not have guessed that.

any news on the home clubhouse? Isn't that suppose to be ready for the season?

no and yes

the closest thing to news was that the players toured it when they were in town for the convention

I believe Theo said it's going to be ready/done a few days before the Home opener on 670 last week. Sounded like they were under the gun on finishing it and also like the FO was holding out a surprise or 2 for the players when they finally see the finished product.

Apparently, (tryign to paraphrase from what I just heard on radio) a woman working on some pipes had some pipes dropped on her and she sustained some pretty bad injuries to her face, neck, and back, but it didn't sound life threatening. Was taken to the hospital.
