Astros admit they were wrong about what happened, Fire Taubman.

The Astros are now officially better than us. No sarcasm.

They still employ the abuser who his comments about got him fired

"Our initial investigation led us to believe that Brandon Taubman's inappropriate comments were not directed toward any reporter," the Astros said in Thursday's statement.

 

I’m going to assume their initial investigation involved talking only to Taubman and not any of the reporters who were there.

 

I’ll still give them a very small bit of credit even though you know they wish they didn’t have to do this. It doesn’t outweigh their [expletive] statement, defending Taubman, calling the reporter a liar and allowing Taubman to issue an apology that wasn’t anything close to an apology. But this dude deserved to be fired so I’m glad that happened.

Chris Correa and John Coppolella and now add Taubman to that list of people that will never work in MLB ever again.

Well sure. I'm not rushing to buy an Astros jersey. I'm justing saying they have risen over the low-moral-bar that is the Cubs organization. They are awarded no points.

Luhnow is just like Taubman except he’s just smart enough to not say the really bad things out loud.

 

But you can tell he just doesn’t give a horsefeathers at all.

Well sure. I'm not rushing to buy an Astros jersey. I'm justing saying they have risen over the low-moral-bar that is the Cubs organization. They are awarded no points.

 

What did they do to rise above the Cub's low bar? They fired the taunty super horsefeathers who forgot to pretend to care. Correct me if I'm wrong, the Cubs never had an incident like that, right?

 

*I find the Cubs organization to be overall pretty terrible and am not trying to defend their actions regarding DV which have been bad
