He couldn't officially practice until they set the date. They're literally doing the minimum for a player they don't expect back.

i'm not sure what you're arguing about

yesterday, i didn't think he was going to go back to practice this year and therefore thought the chance he'd play was zero. because he is going to practice, i now think that chance is non-zero.

He was ready to practice before today, most likely.

Eta - practicing in this context should also be put in quotes. He basically stretched with the team.

I just realized that I attended Cutty's only win against Green Bay.

I know this game really doesn't mean anything in the grand scheme of things, but my inner meatball wants the Bears to ruin Brett Favre night for all of those hillbilly mouth breathers and make them at least worry that the Bears could be good in upcoming years.

I've pretty much accepted that the tide in the division won't really turn until Rodgers retires, which I think they know too. Obviously in the NFL we're capable of beating them in any one given season and winning the division, like in 2010, but I don't see continued success over them until he's gone. If they draft another HOF QB, I quit.

It's crazy, since I started watching football as a kid around 1993 or so, the Packers have made the playoffs in 17 out of 22 seasons. The Bears have only been 5 times in that same span. I'm pretty numb about it these days.

we didn't have to wait until favre retired for that tide to turn. lovie delivered on his dumb "beat green bay" objective early on. then aaron rodgers happened.
