Earlier this year my boss let me work out of the Milwaukee office to go to some Cubs games. I got there a few days early to hit some training that was in town. I got there the night KB hit the walkoff against the Rockies and the Cubs proceeded to go 16-2 over their next 18 games.

 

I got to Chicago yesterday. They're letting me work out of the Chicago office so I can go to the game tomorrow. Let's start another 16-2 stretch. That should be a World Series title and an 8-1 start next year.

really is that necessary? was trying to have a normal baseball discussion you have been owned these first 2 games. the mets have beaten the top 3 pitchers in the national league this season you can hate all you want. the umps can help you its not gonna matter

I don't get Mets fans and their need to be aggressive. Even my good friends at work who are Mets fans, guys I get along great with, are snarky and aggressive about their team. These are the same dudes who gave up on them in June and said it was all over, time to start following the Jets offseason.

Mets fans and White Sox fans have a lot of similarities. They are the neglected stepchildren of their city's sports teams, so they always are in attention seeking mode. When their team is good the attention seeking turns aggressive. Just remind them that they'll never be the Yankees.

I'm not nervous at all. I hope they win, but if they don't I'm ok. I can't get as emotionally invested as I did in 2003. It was not healthy.
