They've been too aggressive tonight.

Is that a good plan of attack against Harvey? Or are they just being overly anxious for some other reason?

In his last start, Harvey struggled badly with his command. It was better tonight, but it would have been nice to the Cubs hitters work him a bit more.

Anyone opposed to Rizzo and Schwarber switching places in the order tomorrow?

I hate knee jerk reactions.

Knee jerk perhaps, but Rizzo hasn't had a hit with runners on since Milwaukee.

He was in the zone pretty much every pitch to start the game.

... and with 5 minutes left in the 3rd, the BlackHawks lead Columbus 3-0 on goals by Anisimov, Teravainen, & Hossa.

Go HAWKS !!

Not you too, Fred.

..... and the NCIS marathon is still going on on the USA channel.

Infinitely more compelling than hockey.

He threw 4 balls outside the zone in the first two innings. The most zone he was catching was with the first pitch. Attacking early was the right call, and they were getting good contact.

True, but even so, the approach was a little too aggressive overall (imho).

Yea yea. I'm overreacting. You can't blame me for feeling like the Milwaukee series was a month ago.

His command was good but they still were swinging at pitches on the edges. They need to wear him down. He got to 100 in the 8.

He wasn't as sharp the second time through and even though they had some bad luck, didn't make him work.

Well I am just thinking and I don't even remember too many instances of him hitting with runners on. Maybe I'm wrong. But when Bryant has 3 hits and one of them was a HR, Schwarber has been donging most of his hits, and Fowler has been really quiet since the WC game it really limits his chances to hit with runners on

now is where we trip them, wrestle them to the ground, punch their teeth into splinters, and smash their skulls like a watermelon.

harvey - cahill - schwarber

the new undervalued commodity is fat guys who don't care about playing in the cold

The extra layer keeps you warm.

Two runs scored off sketchy defensive plays, one HR on strike 5, and one HR that was the first on Lester's cutter all year.

Cubs lose a run on sketchy base running, and hit 8 line drive outs.

Don't you ever call Schwarber fat!

Hitting is a skill. Hitting with people randomly dispersed on white rubber stations is not. God I hate cubs fans. Twitter is an abortion currently.
