yeah i didn't state that as clearly as I should. it was a "mistake" in that he missed his spot. it was not "nearly a bad mistake" like the announcer stated because he literally swung at the pitch and hit a weak foul pop fly. heyward tried to hit it and failed miserably. it's no more "nearly a big mistake" then saying any pitch was "nearly a big mistake" had it not ended up where it actually ended up.
