Love that all the games today start at the same time.....

Except for the cardinals who fucked it up by getting rained out. Why exactly are they even making up yesterday's game anyways? The only thing slightly meaningful is Braves draft position.

Then again the Cardinals don't play again until Friday so they probably don't care if they play 2.

Not that this game matters, but it really would be cool to win it and have Pitts lose and have the WC game at Wrigley. I don't see Pitts losing today though with some complete bum on the mound for Cincy.Guys stats look awful. Either way, can't wait for Wednesday!

Am I the only one keeping an eye on the Cardinals DH hoping they get swept so the Cubs can finish 3 games out? And then we can lament on all the blown cardinals games

If only the Cubs hadn't sandbagged their first 12 games by keeping Kris Bryant down...

Someone called into the score yesterday with that same complaint except for the fact that it was directed at HFA in the WC game. Never mind that the Cubs were 4-4 and the Pirates something like 2-6 when Bryant was called up

Oh, there will be a ton of media [expletive] if we miss this by a game. That said, I THINK we went 5-3 without KB.

We did.

I want them to get multiple runs home here, I don't want them overthinking a man on 3rd and less than 2 outs situation on Wednesday
