Bottom line, Triple H is not horrible, but not anything to brag about. No offense = no wins 3/5 starts. period. herrera and denorfia in the starting lineup at the same time is bad news.

I'm begging you. Please don't try to make "Triple H" a thing. Please

I guess, but he only shows up when the Cubs are losing. He then posts the most ridiculous things often contradicting his previous idiotic post with his next idiotic post. I felt bad at first because people piled on but now I get it...literally complaining about rainouts and completely random events as if they were within the control of the organization was the last straw, because NOBODY can be that stupid can they?

this was his last post under his old name

that was about the 2008 team lol

yeah and we got swept in the playoffs. no world series.

I don't even think you know what the hell you're arguing about. I've never been a part of such a circular discussion in my life. The Mariners won 116 games in 2001 and didn't win a World Series, so what the [expletive] is your point?

Well, you see , he was worried about a '69-style collapse for the '08 team, but they still went to the playoffs but they lost in the playoffs and they didn't win any playoff games so somehow in his head it all comes out to being the exact same thing.

I think I am more impressed by the leaps in logic than anything.

Most teams that don't score runs lose you jackaloon.

Ugh... and Kershaw tomorrow. Would like to not lose more than 2 in a row, but I guess it really doesn't matter.

yeah we will see the same lineup tmrw since he is a lefty.

Pretty sure Montero will catch.

Ya but Montero has struggled mightily vs. Kershaw just about the same as every other lefty. it doesnt change much, you still see herrera out there and if fowler is out again you still see denorfia

Montero has a higher OPS against left handers this year than righties

Also 99% of hitters struggle against Kershaw because, you know, he's the best pitcher on the [expletive] planet.

Montero's career OPS vs. Kershaw is like .571

Didn't i say that just about every other hitter struggles as well? You starting to develop selective reading too?

James Russell is (somehow) 1-2 against him in his career. Is there any way we can get his bat into the lineup?

Which is probably higher than the career ops of the person he'd be replacing in today's lineup which is either Herrera or Szczur

it won't because haren is hopefully going to be sent somewhere far away from this team soon

You said lefties struggle. All hitters struggle against Kershaw. You then tried to point to Montero's .571 OPS against Kershaw as some way to validate your post. OPS against Kershaw for every hitter he has ever faced is .577

we will never surpass them with trash heap bottom of the rotation starters... at least not in 2015.
