So basically it's a fake or the leftovers of the actual evidence that's already accounted for? To me, both sides of this 'debate' are nauseating. You have B&B and 670 appearing to be a little too emotionally involved in this case and waging war against the idiot Hawk fans supporting Kane blindly.

 

This whole thing is messy and confusing. Justice is obviously the #1 priority here, but from my viewpoint, the evidence they had on Kane himself was debatable and not at all conclusive. The problem with these accusations in general is it's a he said vs she said unless you have clear cut DNA/bruising around the victim's genital area. DNA under the fingernails doesn't conclusively point towards somebody being guilty of rape. So I gather that the case was a hail Mary after it was leaked that the rape kit didn't have his DNA.

 

Without being an expert on this type of thing, is that rough summery more or less accurate?

Mostly, thought the rape kit DID find his DNA; just not from her bathing suit areas. A rape kit is actually the procedures used to search for physical evidence all over the victim.

 

But yes, it ultimately usually comes down to just weighing both side's claims since rape/sexual assault often occurs without obvious signs of violence or struggle.

Well, again, this case floors me.

 

As a lawyer, I understand why he withdrew. But I think he said too much in doing so. I hope he parted with that family on decent terms. Regardless the bar could be looking at him for this.

Goes back to what I said before. He just needed to withdraw and not say anything. He must have decided that would put his client in a negative light, so he put it on the mom.
