Will be at the SB Cubs game. I'll post anything that seems important. However, it is $2 beer night!

So it may be completely incoherent

Perfect game for Leal. The Cubs have failed to score, so bottom 9 0-0

Leal with a no hitter through 6.

I always confuse Leal with Pineyro

Torres was pulled early anyone know why?

** guess no one knows yet

Seems like they could have used his bat tonight

It was the 8th. Didn't look hurt.

I know PJ Francescon is pretty old for AA, but he is dealing this season. If he a prospect at all or is this season just smoke and mirrors? Michael Heesch is also putting up really good numbers at myrtle beach. And what about Wilson Contreras as a catcher. Offensively, he's been really consistent all season, sitting around .330.

Prospect is a very strong word for a guy like Francescan. This being said, he's Rule 5 eligible, and I could see him in consideration for a spot, depending on how many are available. If not, he's definitely the type that teams with a Rule 5 pick burning a hole in their pocket would take. Either way, I could see him as a serviceable middle reliever, but nothing head-bang inducing if it's not for us.

Leal is LHP partial return for Campana (haha), Pineyro is RHP return for Scott Hairston and given up for Haren

Leal will always, always be the answer to "Who was traded to the Cubs for Campana?" if he does nothing else.

Contreras seems worthy of top-150 prospect consideration, and of placement in our top five
