Peripherals are not good.

And it's not like he consistently outperforms them either. In fact he had underperformed his peripherals more often than not prior to this season. Alarm bells all over the place.

Wada is probably better than Haren if he can stay healthy, but that is a big "if".

Haren is basically Jason Motte stretched out to throw 100 pitches every 5 days, 4 out of 5 pitches are a fastball or cutter. Hopefully Bosio can help to sharpen up the cutter.
