Pressed pause on the game. Just finished now, thank god we had bathroom problems in April so we could have this glorious day!!

I wouldnt go that far, opening day was the worst live sports experience of my life. I pissed on a wall in the concourse in front of hundreds of people.

#Cubs batters struck out 10+ times in 37 of first 68 games of the season. They have since struck out 9 or fewer times in 15 straight games.

this must be the problem

Is it more impressive to win both of a double header vs the Cards or win a game Angle Hernandez calls?

hey, he likely saved us a Fowler K (before the Siegrist E) by mistaking Dexter's waggle for a time call

imagine if we go on a royals like run from here on out (except we win the world series) and then we have to forever associate it with big bang theory

Were you there? It was the only option. It was total chaos. I saw grown men piss themselves. I saw someone hold their infant child over a trash can and just let 'er rip

It's a risk I'm willing to take

If we win the Series I don't care if we have to associate it with bin Laden.

If we win the World Series I will watch every single episode of BBT or Seinfeld, NSBB's choice.

[expletive] it, if we win I'll watch them both

That felt like a real turning point after all the fluky, ridiculous BS that went against the Cubs in the season series. For once the Cubs were scoring on fluke fair balls and horrendous throwing errors. Maybe the demons will be exorcised a little now.

I am a little worried about Motte, though. You saw what the Cardinals did - they were up there hacking from the first pitch because they know the fastball is the only pitch Motte can get over. Even most of their outs were rockets.
