this is a wrist flip and not a bat flip. but it's against the godless cardinals so i vote it stands.

For all of the crap Sammy got for his hop, he didn't really have a good flip. Makes me a little sad.

YESSSSS. I would kill for someone to act as if they had a bum leg and use the bat as a cane only to flick it away halfway to first base, do a Barry Bonds spin, and double-tap their chest.

This was my reasoning too. Maybe not a bat flip by the purist definition, but the way he carries the bat sticking straight out for three steps and then gives it the swaggiest little flick, you can practically hear him saying, "[expletive] yeah!" I approve.

Bat flip or not, this is completely worthy because its the Cardinals, although it loses a few points since its the Pirates who are doing it. Not sure if it's Molina or not, but the catchers reaction is an added bonus. :D
