Tom Lawless had a 0.120 slugging percentage and a -19 OPS+ for the cardinals in 1987. He had 1 home run in 4 years, but did this in the World Series.

 

Hahaha. Only the [expletive] Cardinals.

 

But that's an outstanding bat flip.

Yeah, gotta give him credit for that. That guy knows who he is and [expletive] everyone else; he is living that moment.

next time he should crouch down and lay the bat down as softly as possible on the ground before starting his trot

i am honestly surprised that the umpire is cool with that. it'd be one thing if it was anthony rizzo or somebody do it, but i'd be horrified that the kid was going to lose the bat and kill somebody.

Nobody seemed to have any issue with it...the catcher is all..."meh".
