yep. Ill take it. back in the day this would never happen, but I guess with west coast trips involving arizona...colorado..even seattle now...makes sense.

Wait, this happened? I remember it coming up in the offseason in regards to Rizzo and Bryant, and even Soler or Russell, but when were people opposed to trading Castro or Baez for Harper?

 

If I was one of the idiots who said such a thing, please punch me in the back of the head, because wow.

 

And yeah, I'd definitely not trade Rizzo, probably not Bryant, but any of the other 4 would be gone without a second thought.

I think most people were in favor of either when it came up last winter, but there've been a few times it came up over the years idly, like "would you trade anyone for Castro?" stuff.

I don't recall myself or anyone else clamoring for either of them to not be traded for Harper (I guess I missed it), but I know I wanted to ship Baez/Russel & Soler for Stanton after the Samardzija trade.
