I liked him too and would have been totally ok with the Bulls taking him. But I am really excited about the possibility of having Tyus.

Living 15 minutes from Fayetteville, I got to see a ton of Bobby Portis and Arkansas this year. He's going to be a double-double machine in the NBA, only question I have with him is scoring inside the paint, he really struggled with it especially towards the end of the season and into the NCAA Tournament.

There's also legitimate concerns about Jimmy Butler signing a long term deal here. Cousins is on a deal that is (relatively) team friendly through the 17/18 season and plays at a premium position. He could be a monster in the right situation. I feel like we've seen the ceiling with this team with Butler as the second best player. They have to take a gamble. And yes, it'd be ideal if we could include a superfluous big (Gasol or preferably, but less likely Noah considering the redundancy with Willey Cauley-Stein who I think is basically the same player) to get back a two guard. Is Ben McLemore any good anymore?

I don't think you can trade a S&T player with multiple other players in the same trade. It needs to be a 1 for 1. So a Butler S&T + Pau for Cousins and McLemore wouldn't work.
