I know earlier in the year when they were struggling, they were seeing in the same range of pitchers per plate appearance and also walking at a similar rate as last year. I would assume those have stayed about the same since we are playing better. If you want to use that as a gauge for "quality abs." The situational hitting has been worse but the RISP hitting has already started to bounce back. Yeah, I was talking more about walk rate rather than RISP hitting. I feel like we haven't worked pitchers much and haven't "accepted" walks for like two months, but I also know I'm talking out of my ass and the numbers wouldn't show that. According to FanGraphs the Cubs BB% last year was 10.4% and this year it is 9.8%
