Part of me wants to troll this thread so hard because everyone thinks the Bulls have a chance for some reason, but I probably won't watch more than 5 minutes of this series so best of luck I suppose

You should edit the title to add "No TT's allowed"

Edit: Nevermind if you read that out loud it sounds like you are banning something else that I am not in support of banning.

Against the Cavs or to win the whole thing?

They definitely can take advantage of the [expletive] that has befallen the Cavs, but yeah, the latter is still a pretty huge long shot.

Eh. Both are longshots. Cavs still have the best player in the world who hasn't lost before the NBA finals in 5 years.

this is what happens when the love-less cavs play the bulls

http://www.basketball-reference.com/boxscores/201502120CHI.html

just saying

(nevermind they weren't trying)

then the next time they played in cleveland and they did have love and the bulls didn't have rose and they barely won and needed some crazy [expletive] to happen to do that

and they needed awful officiating to beat them on halloween

If they lose the series, it's your fault.

4 years. And let's not pretend he did it all by himself.

It's 2015. He went to the finals in 2014, 2013, 2012, and 2011. Last time he lost was 2010. That was 5 years ago.

Also, he's not doing it by himself this year. Their best 2 players match up and are better than the Bulls best 2 players.

If they don't get a split on the road without Love and JR Smith, forget about this series.

A split at the absolute least. The only way I'm going to be confident to any degree is if they win both, because you know Cleveland's going to get a game in Chicago.

The Bulls have the Heat's number!

I don't think the Bulls should be favorites by any stretch, but to say they have no shot is silly. There are some many wild cards on the Bulls. If Noah looks as rejuvinated as he did in G5 and 6 of the milwaukee series, and Rose improves as he continues to come back from the knee surgery, there is absolutely no reason why they can't win. I do think they matchup pretty good (or at least as good as a team can going against LeBron). I read somewhere that the Cavs offense relies on a lot of 3's, great because when we are playing well defensively we do a good job of making the opponent take 3s from lower percentage areas.

The one area that scares me is that the Cavs weak spot is supposed to be defensively, but their defense has apparently been playing at a very elite level the last couple of months. That will probably get better without Love.

Yeah I was going to say regular season doesn't matter all that much in terms of projecting playoff series. Shortened benches and equal rest, not to mention coaching over a 7 game series tends to play a factor.

Never said he was doing it by himself; you talked about him like he willed his team to the finals all four seasons in Miami, and that's simply not the case. Where his last team ended up has little to do with the situation he's dealing with right now.

He's an amazing talent and nobody with half a brain is saying that the Bulls are just going to romp all over them, but the reverse isn't that much less ridiculous. These first two games really mix things up, and Irving improved his defense this year but he's still potentially a liability out there on that end. The Bulls' biggest problem is their inconsistency, but if you're getting games where both Rose and Butler are creating havoc it's going to make things very interesting and test the Cavs' D.

Have to win game one to have any shot in the series. Lose game one and they could get swept.

Why game one in particular instead of 1 of the first two games?

It's the only game all series where Rose has more than a day of rest.

Not surprised to see the Cavs answer with a run here. The question is whether the Bulls have another run in them, or if it's going to stay within 3-5 points the rest of the way
