I'm going to set the over/under on Cubs dongs in this series at 6.5.

maybe if we stop talking about the dongs they will come

We've had a pretty decent number of dongs already. It's not like we've been held dongless.

the hype for the first KB dong is off the charts -- i dont think it will die till he finally does it, then i think he'll go on a rampage.

The .500+ OBP is keeping me happy in the meantime.

dude montero should have twice the ABs that he has by now. so sick of david ross.

If we are going to insist on playing him, though, I'm glad Maddon is hitting him in front of Lester so teams will keep walking him.

Is there some numerical data to support my irrational thought of catchers making awful pinch hitters because they're creatures of habit?

I think that would be hard to study since most catchers don't get used as a pinch hitter since, A: they may be needed if the starting catcher gets hurt, and B: catchers aren't usually that good hitters in the first place.

nice to have fowler back. lester has been horrible so can we just make schwarber his personal catcher instead of ross

Schwarber leads AA in almost every offensive category.
