I think the Cubs will call up either Russell or Baez by June for sure. Both of them can help the club with baserunning and defense, even if they don't hit right away. I'm sure the preference would be for Javy to get off strong at Iowa and get the first call, but I don't think Super Two will impact the decision on Russell one way or the other.

Well I suppose whichever comes up first there won't be a big rush to get the second up. Whether it's super two for Russell or an extra year of service time for Javy they'll be finding an extra year somewhere.

Yeah. They already started him at 2B yesterday and will keep him there all weekend. He'll be up in less than 20 days, if you follow the position change before promotion schedule Baez and Alcantara were on last season.
