If Kyle says one more [expletive] thing about pitch framing, he's getting banned

Uh, that's not really how moderating works.

Should be

I'll never understand how people who agree to sing the stretch have no [expletive] clue what the cadence to this song is.

I wonder how well they can hear up there. I'd be terrified to do it unless I could see someone conducting me from the pipe organ, and then only if I were wearing earplugs.

That's obviously a ground rule double. No argument there. Cant get into the specific depth of the ball into the ivy for it to qualify lol. Edited by DiamondMind

Um, Myers hit that into the vines, does that make a difference?

Ivy rule double -- only at Wrigley.

Who was it a zillion games ago who didn't go after the ball and it went for extra bases, or even an in the park HR?

The sooner we get robot umps, the better.

Sad we have actual metrics to cover up how shitty umpires are.

It's a double guys. It's just how the rule is, and SD exploited it as they should.

Yeah, but what does Deadspin have to say about it?

Probably something about Clark's furry dong and 1908.

the dumbest thing about this is how there has to be an official inquiry by the ump requesting help from others.

also, they never reached in and the fact that it touched them beforehand does not matter.

So if you can see the ball, it is still a ground rule double?

I believe as long as it is in the vines and the defender throws his hands up it's a double, whether it is visible or not.
