I'm just curious what everyone has planned for this important day. I was thinking about walking over to the park and checking out the scene... maybe walking into a bar or two. Not sure what it's gonna be like over there.

Similar. I'm going to some Easter brunch in Northbrook, then heading towards the park. I don't have tickets for the game but I'm hoping I can find prices drop to the $50-60 range. If not I'll head to a bar to watch.

I've got rehearsal from 1-6, then scrapping together some food and settling in. Everyone in my house but me is sick, so there will be no Easster festivities

Making breakfast then packing to go drinks and watching the drag Easter parades, going to a bbq with the gf's family, then settling onto a barstool around 5 for the game. Work tomorrow will suck.

Already giddy about tonight. I feel like it's a playoff game or something. Pacing is in order.

My girlfriend's fam is hosting Easter...they are Southsiders without a drop of tolerance for their neighbors. Fortunately we should be done before the game starts and I can head home.

mowing the lawn, packing up to move to a hotel for 2 weeks while our house is fixed after a leak, and watching the cubs from a residence inn.

Went outside to see if the ineptly built container garden bed I put up yesterday was still standing. Surprised that it was. Planted broccoli and carrots, knowing full well that the mechanisms of fate hate me and will not allow anything to grow.

 

Going to idly clean the house for a couple of hours, taking many breaks to stop and check the internet, then pick up my son from his mom's around 4. When we get home, I've got two hours to find something that will keep him quietly entertained during the game.

I originally planned to go to a Chicago sports bar in Bay Ridge, but the girlfriend is a bit under the weather. I'll be making burgers and fries at our apartment instead and watching the game on either the ESPN3 app or MLB.TV.

about to head to a friends to grill some steaks and do some day drinking. then im promptly getting the [expletive] out of there at 6 and heading home so i can settle in and watch the blackhawks and cubs. gonna be a great day.

Enjoying a relaxing weekend as this will be the last weekend for three weeks that my daughter isn't traveling to play softball. I will sit on the couch and watch the game tonight.

Lost in all of this is the fact that the Bulls play the Cavs today, conveniently during the day, before the Cubs game. Quite possibly the best day ever.
