That and they were in by far the worst regional. I still expect them to play an excellent game against Duke, though.

MSU against UNC in the title game in 2009 was 15-20 points for almost the whole game. UNC played terrible for a half against Kansas the year before but actually made a game of it in the second half.

 

So it's been 6 years. Unless we get count the Butler-UConn title game because both teams were abysmal in that one.
