I always enjoy when the tv crew finds a definitive replay and then the refs refuse to acknowledge it.

When 90 year old Bill Raftery can tell definitively...

A long 2 is the worst shot you could take there.

Damn man, I've got to give credit. Duke had 2 of their best in foul trouble all game and it just didn't even matter

what the [expletive] was Bo Ryan doing to foul down 3 with some time to spare?

Extending the game? If Duke scores, you're down 5 with about 15 seconds left.

The two guys who tied on ESPN's bracket challenge are tied on every tiebreaker. Neither one put a tiebreaker score and they got the same number of games right in every round. So the winner will be the person who created his entry first.

eh, 35 seconds is basically 15 seconds for Wisconsin anyway with how totally ill-prepared they are for any type of hurry-up situation; should've defended and played for overtime

it just didn't make sense for even a moment

I think literally every single time there was a ball that went out of bounds and it was iffy at best the refs called it for duke. Finally when one went to replay I figured they had to reverse it, but nope.

Turning point seemed to be when they called the block on Wisconsin (should have been a charge on Winslow), then seemingly a play or two later Jones acted like he was shot in the chest on minimal contact on the other end and got the charge call on wisconsin. I really hate how much college refs affect games. Plus Wisconsin seemed gassed at the end.

Fouling was correct there (maybe not who was fouled). If Duke runs it down and scores the game is over. Even if they don't score, fifteen seconds and down three isn't an enviable position (especially for Wisconsin against this Duke defense). You extend the game as much as possible. It's pretty basic.

Is there anything less surprising than Wisconsin players, coach and fans complaining about the officiating.?

As was said on the radio this morning their attitude about the fouls was typical bo, bully and complain. Only a poor sport makes a statement about one and dones in his post game tear fest. Funny cause he pushed hard for D. Stone but I am sure that is somehow different bo's eyes.

He wasn't talking about one and dones in his press conference. He was referring to fifth year transfers.

Also, the officiating was awful. Every time a Duke player jumped into a Wisconsin player on offense, it was a foul. That's not how the game is supposed to be officiated and it completely changed the outcome. Grayson Allen spazzing out all over the floor was a big factor too and he got a bunch of drives to the basket that he should have been called for push offs on and the refs swallowed their whistles.

His entire quote goes on about wanting players to grow over the years. If you want to look at his literal statement than no he doesn't say one and done but typical bitter old man he implies it. I think if you read any story about his comments it's pretty obvious.

Have you watched Jackson or Koenig over their careers? Jacksons game is based off jumping into players. Bo wants it his way and will bully anyone to make sure he gets it

In the Big Ten only in zone gets away with the whining as much as bo.

It's more shameful bitching about 5th year transfers or in his direct case with Uthoff blocking him from certain blaming contractual language as a means stating it's right there in the print. With that said, I still believe he was speaking of one and dones as well as the transfer rule (see the current Seahawks starting QB transferring from NC State).

The officiating was awful for each team. It didn't cost Wisconsin the game, Wisconsin got outplayed by Duke.

He embarrassed himself.

The officiating was horrendous through out the tourney. Needs to be addressed.

How? We talk about horrible officiating endlessly and there's never a solution. Yesterday they had conclusive video and it still didn't matter. I don't know what else can be done.
