Coach Boone somehow kept 30 year olds eligible for High School and still won a championship after losing his All-Everything LB to paralysis and his starting QB to a racist lineman. He also benched Ryan Gosling for some guy from Scrubs.

Look at the competition level. Iceland in the finals. Craig T Nelson built up a loser Minnesota State program and got decrepit Phil Simms to lead an expansion team to the playoffs

Don't think you can lump college and professional coaches together. Professional has so many more variables which is why one team doesn't stay dominant for decades on end.

You also shouldn't lump football coaches with baseball coaches since football coaches have to actually do something to make a difference for their teams.
