I feel like their hands were tied. Only undefeated team in the nation in a power 5 conference and defending national champ with a majority of their best players back. They clearly were playing below the level the other 3 were at but the blowback would have been worse if they didn't include them.

 

I still think TCU should have gotten in over Ohio State but I'm sure my judgement is clouded.

If not for that stupid OPI at the end of the ND game, we would have gotten Bama vs. Baylor and Oregon vs. Ohio State (the latter of which we will get anyway, I suppose). Yesterday was awesome, but without FSU it could've been even better.
