The Blackhawks thru 9 games this season have scored 21 goals, last season they started off slow as well with 24 thru 9 games. Not too worried.

There are some meatballs out there who take pride in being worried about good teams, but mostly no, nobody's worried.

I think Raanta has to clear waivers if he were to be sent down to Rockford. Probably want another look at Darling. They know what they have with Raanta. When Crawford is back later this week I would think Darling gets sent back.

 

99% sure Raanta is waiver exempt.

I posed this on SCH. Why not send Raanta and Darling to Rock Vegas and bring up Leighton? Crawford is going to play most of the time anyway. Why not let these guys split PT there and see how things shake out later. Leighton is a veteran and seems like he'd be able to handle not playing much. He wasn't great as a starter but in front of the Hawks he'd make a capable back up.
