That was a nice game to have...all around.

I daresay, Carcillo is looking like a pretty good pickup! Even with the assist last night, Richards still has been pretty bleh.

Thank God for the Hawks. Jeez every guy they have is a killer.

I seriously think this is possibly the best team we've sent out there during this run.

TvR looks shockingly solid out there. For his role, he's amazing.

Saad, Shaw and Smith have all taken steps forward and are better than they were at this time last year. Saad is still my pick for a breakout year.

Even Richards is better than our usual "designated slow veteran center who ruins the pace of every line he's on."

Yup. Agree, he made the 3rd line look good(the only line that looked weak so far this year)

5 game unbeaten streak to start the season, and until yesterday haven't looked in top form. I don't think any team will top the 2010 Hawks but this team has a chance to be better than the 2013 team(not including The Streak)

Richards I will give some time to, he might need to find his legs, plus he is with a new team, and he had a daughter born just before the season started.

Here's a fun exercise: Try to make the worst possible line combo using the forwards (no Rundblad at wing) currently available on the Blackhawks roster. I defy anyone to come up with one that doesn't do at least one thing really well.

The Chicago Blackhawks do not have a single 2nd period goal this entire 2014-15 season

That's about the only negative I can come up with in the first five games.

They also haven't helped the Bears a [expletive] bit.

Richards and Versteeg have both been 20 goal scorers. Carcillo is not John Scott out there. He's not even Dongballs. Which is not to suggest he should be playing but when he's not being an idiot he's not entirely useless. There's a lot of teams that would take that as their 3rd line.

Looks like crow is going to miss at least the next 2 games but after last night I guess it's less of a concern with how good Raanta looked.

Hawks in Nashville tonight. Lets see how their "Get the Red out" campaign works. Although it is a weeknight, I think there will be a lot of Hawks fans there

Do they still do that? I know they tried not selling to Hawks fans last year, but they ditched that plan, right?

The way I understood it, to get Hawks tickets you either had to be a season ticket holder, or if you bought from ticketmaster you had to also purchase a non Hawks game ticket. Still doesn't stop someone who is a Preds fan from selling on Stub Hub or Ebay. Still comes out cheaper for Hawks fans to buy on the secondary market, than buying home Hawks tickets. Plus Nashville is an 8 hour drive and a very fun city to visit.

Blues did this last year. No idea if they did it this year.

Thought for sure I'd seen they ended those restrictions after one season, but now I can't find where I read that. Whoops.

This is from what Pat Foley said during last night's broadcast "Get the red out" I didn't hear it, I missed the beginning of the game and the first half of the third.

From the Committed Indian: http://thecommittedindian.com/dead-voices-james-neal-3-blackhawks-2/

Foley mentioned this a bit.. The Preds instituted a “keep the red out” policy for the game. I think that means you had to buy tickets to a second non-Chicago game in order to get these tickets (probably still cheaper than a single ticket to the UC) but they also gave a bag of popcorn to anyone wearing a yellow sweater. Foley also mentioned you would get two tickets if you turned in a Hawks shirt or cap too. Did I hear that right? That can’t be right, can it? I mean.. this piece of [expletive] costs less than a dollar http://www.ebay.com/itm/Creative-sz-L-XL-NHL-CHICAGO-BLACKHAWKS-Reversible-100-Cotton-Bucket-Hat-/131328259240?pt=U_Hockey_Fan_Shop&hash=item1e93c634a8. Would that have got me two tickets?

We...we didn't win. Bums!

I think Nashville might be last year's Colorado.

Richards and Seabrook had bad games, but they lost, I will take 4-1-1 every six games.
