Evidently there's been a scout or two mention it wouldn't be a surprise if he were dealt. But your point does stand. I can't imagine they actually would deal him.

Especially when just a quick glance at Fangraphs shows he's been worth 8.2 WAR so far in his career - and he's 21 years old. But he's clearly "not great by a longshot."

 

He's been kinda bad (by his standards) this year though. Not sure what the deal is there, but trading him for just about any package would be a terrible mistake.
