There's a pretty good chance Baez goes back to No. 12 next year, so be careful with your shirseys. Unless you are rich and can afford two, in which case PTR thanks you.

You're independently wealthy so you should buy one for all of us.

What are you basing this on (or that he even has any preference for 12?)

He has said he'd take 23 if he could, but other than that his choices have seemed pretty random.

Just get the #9. It'll be like a rookie card.

I don't remember the exact number of games or criteria, what does 50 games of MLB time this year do to Baez's rookie status? Not saying I care at all about the status with respect to the decision to call him up (it should factor 0% of the decision), just curious if this makes 2014 his official rookie year.

Pretty sure that I read somewhere that he loses rookie status if he's up the rest of this season.

45 days of service time or some number of PAs. This is definitely his rookie year.

What's the cheapest place anyone has seen for his shirsey? Looks like they're all $35. Fanatics usually does free shipping but I don't see Baez on there yet.

I think they're all 35 because the stores are just ordering the custom shirts. I'm sure they'll go down to normal price in a week or so.

Is $35 really all that high?

I feel like all the ones I've bought have cost like $30-40

Yeah that's stupid for a t-shirt

Absolutely, but par for the course, like knowing you're spending $8 on a shitty beer at the game.

Official MLB merchandise. Don't even think I've seen them cheaper than that online anytime recently (outside of clearance or something)

I saw that and Vitters at that Cubs store by the mcdonalds last December and they still wanted full price LOL

I spent like $44 on a Scot Pollard Kings shersey for a party. $44 per wear.

I spent like $35 for a cheap Favre jersey for a Halloween costume and decided to cost average down with multiple wears.

Might buy that and paint over the name and hand write Baez myself lol

The Majestic brand t-shirts are usually shitty quality too. I have a Rizzo shirsey that has the numbers wearing off already on the back. It's too bad you can't get Nike DriFit quality ones.

Cubs shirseys were 28 both inside and outside Wrigley when I went there this year. Had been 25 for a while.
