I'm not gonna let facts get in the way of my convoluted next-gen Kevin Orie reference, you can take it or leave it

I got the reference. But the fact that I'm right about both Orie and Lake makes me confused as to why you'd go there. What with the me being right and all.

20 years from now, Kyle's kid will wonder on message boards why Junior Lake never got another MLB shot after such an unlucky BABIP in 2014.

Not watching...why was it a hit instead of an error?

He was on a full sprint and *had to slide for the ball. It was in his glove, popped out when the glove hit the ground.

For those stuck on Lake play--hit 100 out of 100x from scoring standpoint. Whether should have made it is another Q. CORRECT CALL. Period.

Now, if only hit is the Lake play, I get the angst, but I repeat--that's a hit. Zero second-guessing on the call from our booth.

I think both the Cubs hits in that inning were IF hits too.

RT @jonmorosi: Four-player deal confirmed: David Price to Tigers, Austin Jackson to Mariners, Nick Franklin and Drew Smyly to Rays. No other prospects.

Yeah the Shark deal was sooooo much better.

New favorite cubs memory. Being in the first row next to the bullpen when Russell got dealt so I could say goodbye and GTFO

That's more than a little sad.

Besides the John Baker game.
