Harold Reynolds in full meatball mode tonight. Does he even ever actually watch any games? He said if the Rays had traded Price for Craig and Kelly everyone would be saying what a great trade it was because those guys are BASEBALL PLAYERS! And the Red Sox got both of them for Lackey - amazing!

He is really making my head hurt.

Eric Byrnes is owning him. Harold saying Bonifacio will be one of the Braves greatest leadoff hitters in the last 20 years, Byrnes immediately following that up with saying Bonifacio's OBP is bad and won't change things too dramatically at the top of the order and that he probably won't even start. Byrnes also brought up FIP and Harold looked dazed. The second Byrnes acknowledged Bonifacio will at least bring them "energy," Harold's eyes lit up like a Christmas tree.

Harold is always in full meatball mode. I've never seen a paid talker say as little in as many words as he does. All of his sentences are clechés

"Hey Harold, how's it going?"

"I'm taking it one day at a time."

"What do you want for desert?"

"Well you can't have your cake and eat it too."

Harold thinks every major leaguer is great, especially those that remind him of himself.

I really hate what MLBN and NFLN have become. They both started out as good, informative channels with more than just the highlights of popular teams/players, but they've both become ESPN lite.

MLBN has an exponentially higher number of meatball "analysts" than NFLN, though

No they don't.

On a related note, Fox Sports 1 has a pretty good group from what I've seen. I really like Kapler and Nitkowski seems pretty good.

Kapler is a fantastic follow on Twitter. Certainly not the old school meathead you thought he'd be as a former player.

Yep, and it's a hell of a niche to carve out.
