Houston offered Bosh the 4/96 max deal, less (at least on AAV) than the Heat will reportedly offer him as they want to give him less than max money.

Houston offered max but less than Heat who won't offer max?

I typed that wrong, on my phone, the offer from the Rockets will be more on aav but potentially less overall amount due to the 5th year that the Heat have/will offer.

Hornets are sitting on a lot of cap space to let McRoberts walk. Hope Zeller is ready.

Yeah, I wonder if they try and make a run at Gasol now. I saw they have met with Gordon Hayward so I could see them offering him, Deng, or Parsons a big deal on the money they won't spend on McBob

That's my feeling as well. I really wish Melo would make his decision before [expletive] hits the fan with the Bosh and LBJ angles.

I have no idea what to make of the McRoberts signing other than the Big Three may just all re-up at their full max as they're not getting that 10-11M player. But a range of possibilities still exist including Bosh and/or Lebron bolting or them just splitting that 11M pool and still taking pay cuts.

The fact that they signed McRoberts for the exact amount of money as the MLE and Granger for what looks like the BAE suggests that the Heat are not planning to go under the cap at all. That's the end of the Heat's free agency money except for minimum salary guys or of course trades.

They may not really know either though. I mean if Lebron and Bosh actually left they could still offer those contracts using cap space. It probably hurts the discount theory, though again, if they still get those discounts they could still have another $3M to a FA plus the RMLE at $2.7M.

I do think it likely means the big three are back and not at discounts, but with no real confirmation of that it leaves the food open for speculation of flexibility on Miami's part.

Can the heat tell wade to [expletive] off and sign melo and Lebron to a max and bosh to a near max?

Wade opting out leaves that as an option right? Not that They would do that, I'm sure they wouldn't but they could basically choose to offer wade a number lower than one he would accept.

No, but not because them [expletive] over Wade is something Riley wouldn't do but because your like 7 M over the cap.

lebron somehow going to the knicks would be a nightmare

Breaking:

Amare, Kirilenko, and Wade are rumored to be working in concert to join the Garnett, Deron Williams, Joe Johnson and the rest of the Nets to form the ultimate aged, injured, overrated, and overpaid team.

what a giant [expletive] fall for granger. I remember after Durant's first season in OKC, the debate was who would be better in the future, granger or durant

I don't remember what year maybe 2010 he was the consensus 2 pick in rotisserie league. For a while he was easily a top 5 fantasy guy. Getting you steals blocks threes ft boards etc.
