Bryant with a very nice diving play and good throw. Also had a single. Johnson a bit wild in the first but his stuff looks good. 2 k's in the 1st.

Bryant looks fantastic at 3rd. 2 amazing plays already.

This is really encouraging to hear and I hope it's legit and means something.

I know there's more than diving plays, but he looks to have those down. Got up and made perfect throws to get the runner both times, too.

the impression i've gotten is that the "he will move to right field" comes from the fact that he has a bat that projects to play well in RF, and he looks more like a RF than a 3B because of his height. i haven't read anything to suggest that he's been below-average defensively at 3B during his (brief) time in the minors.

It's a SSS but he didn't look good to me in the televised AFL games.

Tseng is 91-94 tonight, flashing a plus curve. One of BP's guys is in attendance and is impressed. Definitely has higher upside than Blackburn, according to him.

Seriously, Javy. 76 PAs is really pushing it on the "lol, he always does this at a new level before going into God mode" front.

This is no meant as smart assery at all. I wonder how we'd all feel if those numerous warning track flies he has had were actually Javy bombs.

@MRubio52: At Kane County watching Tseng, was up early but has found the stuff. CB looks really nice, CH has flashed.

And an inch the other way and Gordon Bombay would have missed completely.

His HR/OFB% is 23.1%, right in line with his career average of 24.6%.

A few extra HRs might make his OPS look more palatable, but it wouldn't change the underlying problems.

Obligatory caveat: I still think he'll adjust soon and start being awesome again.

Yeah, we've seen this movie enough times before. I'm not saying there's no reason for concern but I'm not especially worried yet.

Also, Javy needs some Bill Mueller magic.

That makes me feel a little better.

Hendricks' accelerating K rate is beginning to fascinate me.

Wait, that can't be right. MinorLeagueCentral says that Baez had 21 Ks in 86 PAs in his first taste of Daytona in 2012. Or did you just mean 2013?

OK, yeah, that's his 2013 totals.

Oh my bad, I forgot he made it to Daytona in 2012 and went straight to the 2013 game logs.
