typically touching the runner with the glove is a pre-requisite for the player being called out on a tag play

seriously wtf

Can't prove he touched him, but they're dying to overturn something for the home crowd to cheer.

Should be safe then... the umps doing the reviewing aren't in Pittsburgh.

atrocious, he wasn't touched, the mound angle doesn't show the depth perception

But the crowd is. This is the public's first taste of replay. They want a positive reaction on TV.

Yes, the one angle clearly showed the glove hitting his forearm.

is this a correct summary of the review system?

INNINGS 1-6: plays are reviewed if the manager challenges. one challenge.

INNING 7+: plays are reviewed if the umpires feel like it. the manager can come out and yell at the umpire and try to get him to review it if he wants, but the umps can say no.

Nah it definitely showed the glove hitting his forearm and you could seethat his hand hadn't touched the base.

Yes, the one angle clearly showed the glove hitting his forearm.

The mound angle shows him having the proper height, the behind the plate overhead cam shows that he wasn't close to actually touching him.
