Well, ya got me.

129.99 dollars of my next Paycheck (which should appear w/in the week) will be headed to MLB.tv. (That is if my mom didnt take my hint that I wanted it for my birthday (which is monday), not that she'd be able to figure out how to do it anyways.)

Arizona radio guys think Szczur is pronounced "sooker"

The first time I ever saw his name, which was football related, I pronounced it "Zerrr"

Great catch by him just now.

Jeez, its $129 these days? Granted I haven't been in the market to buy MLB.tv since like 2004 which is the last time I lived out of market, but I think back then it was like $40 for the season.

I get that back then it was some low bit stream and now you have HD and mosaic and everything else but that sounds ridiculous.

Back in 2003 you could buy seasonally, monthly and even watch individual games for $1.99 a piece. Broke college UMF spent all his money buying individual games down the stretch of that season.

I believe I did this for an Astros/Brewers game at the end of that season.

Have they always done the 7th inning stretch in ST? Have I just not noticed before? If it was added for the new place than I am completely in on hating Ricketts

2 different packages / split into two different payment methods each.

I got the $129.99 one for this season for the first time because my entire summer will be spent in a cubicle.

It was really awkward/bad without the organ music + Fergie walking back and forth.

Yeah, kind of surprised everyone ignored the Roast flashback.

It's not hard at all to imagine Grimm as a long term set up guy.

Saw a couple of tweets that Grimm hit 97. Impressive.

Just catching the game now on dvr. What does Grimm throw for offspeed stuff? Whatever it was looked nasty on the pitch he struck out Gregorius on.

He's got a change that used to flash plus on occasion, but now may even be considered a true plus pitch at this point.

I really want to see Rondon, Grimm, and Vizcaino pitch all season in the majors. Add in Rivero as a long term option, our pen is the most intriguing thing we've got going at the major league level.

And that's without mentioning Strop and Parker, two extremely positive developments from last year.

I thought that's what it looked like, but it was like 85 or 86 mph and that made me question the look I got at it. He does throw 96-97 though, so I guess that's about right for a change. It had some really nice downward and tailing action away from a lefty to it.

I was surprised he was hitting 97 THIS early in spring, even in an inning stint. I'm not sure he can hit triple digits, but it wouldn't surprise me.

Thankfully the internet in my Chicago-based office only blocks these teams:
