the Patriots are brilliant.

their War Room is full of laughter year after year. "How dot they let these guys fall to us AGAIN?" they ask

Good teams seem to always win the draft, funny how this works. The Packers, 49ers, and Patriots are doing this again.

Steelers always get good players with mid to late round picks as well

Thoughts on Tre Mason?

Good player, can't block though. Good pass receiver too. I believe there are some health concerns.

@nfldraftscout: Teams I talked to were very concerned about Louis Nix injury and social media use.

Social media!?!? I can see how that's a problem; not enough drug use or murder.

That's OK. The criticism I'm reading of him is about how Malzahn's system made him better than he actually is.

Extremely fast and shifty, very much a scat back and I never saw him run with much power. SEC defenses are generally pretty fast, though, and Mason made most of them look slow.

That's probably true to an extent, but he's very good. I like him more than Hyde and Hill, but less than Sankey.

Some team is gonna get a steal with Donte Moncrief. Can't believe he is still there.

and there he goes

Wayne, Hilton, Rogers, Moncrief - good mix of veterans, speed and upside.

For now, there are two Trai/Trea Turners in the state of North Carolina.

I was happy with the Bishop Sankey pick for the Titans. Wasn't crazy about a RB early in the draft because of the depth available and the lack of a true standout (heck, Andre Williams is still around), but most of the real impact guys I wanted were gone and Sankey's got a real chance to be a good all-around RB rather than a specialist.

Today, I really want to the see the Titans get Logan Thomas. I love that kid and his upside and could see him developing into a really good QB. Otherwise, we still need a pass rusher and an inside linebacker or two. A safety and/or corner would be nice as well.

And Hakeem Nicks. Surprised that the Colts took a reveiver with their other needs, although they probably will need one after next year. It makes me wonder how high they had Moncrief on their board and if they decided they just couldn't pass on him anymore.

Oh yeah, keep forgetting the Colts signed Nicks. They may have taken Moncrief for lack of a better option elsewhere - safety was kinda weak and Mewhort apparently can play center (according to Mayock). Could have taken a DT, but there are still a lot of them out there.

Aaron Murray and AJ McCarron went in back to back picks in round 5. Murray to Chiefs and McCarron to Bengals.

I forgot about Daniel McCullers... that guy is absolutely massive. 6'7", 350lbs, and has 11" hands and 36 5/8" arms! Came out of HS at 400lbs.

Saints quietly had a very nice draft. Cooks at WR could be a total badass and hopefully brings some explosiveness back to the offense. Hopefully the CB Jean-Baptiste is everything they are saying he is. In the later rounds they took some chances on really high upside guys who's stock fell after knee injuries but who appear to now be healthy.

Local radio is gushing over the potential of the LB Ronald Powell from FLA. He was the top recruit in the country coming out of HS but was slowed by injuries.

When was the last time Illinois went without a single draftee?
