Illinois quarterback Nathan Scheelhaase’s father has been banned from the university’s campus for a year after being arrested during the Illini’s game against Michigan State on Saturday, the Indianapolis Star reports.

 

The site reports that the incident stemmed from an argument involving Scheelhaase’s father.

 

University police chief Jeff Christensen said Tuesday that Nathan Creer was arrested after an argument at Memorial Stadium during Saturday’s game. Christensen said Creer became “somewhat aggressive” with officers.

I wanna see Florida's offense vs the IU defense. Both are disgusting. Gators had an 82 yard play and still couldn't get a TD on the drive. IU allowed a 3rd and 13 wide open TD.

edit. If Michigan wasn't going to run, why didnt they have a TE in the backfield to help with the pass rush, would have made a lot more sense

Arkansas had driven to the 2, and it sure looks like he's faking an injury to slow things down(Bielema sure thought so). He didn't return to the game though(this happened early in the 4th), so either there was something to the injury or he did it on his own and got punished.

There were just 2 seconds to go in the 3rd Qtr, which makes a really weird time to go down. Arkansas had just gotten a first down at the 2 after an 11-play drive. Was Arkansas trying to hurry to the line and punch it in before the 4th?

 

That said, he's a sophomore backup LB. Arkansas ran series of 6 plays (then punt), 4 plays (then punt), and 1 play (then fumble) in the 4th quarter. So it wouldn't be unusual for a backup LB to not get on the field in any of those series, even if he was totally healthy.
