This two bye-week schedule sucks eggs

Counterpoint: 15 weeks of college football is better than 14, even if some weeks aren't great.

Also: We have two matchups this week featuring two teams in the top 13. That's pretty damn nice.

Mizzou has a chance if they don't baby Mauk and dumb-down the offense for him. He's got the arm to make the throws to a bunch of huge WRs. The running game is excellent, and the D is playing well. Don't get too conservative and Mizzou could be 7-0.

Would have been nice if we had two top-10 matchups. Wish Stanford had done their part last weekend.

2 weeks to wait for an OSU beat down is not much fun

2 weeks to listen to the local radio talk about how confident they are in the beat down is also not much fun

I'm trying not to look ahead, but I'm far more anxious about the South Carolina game.

Florida RB Matt Jones out for the season with a knee injury. Everyone talks about Georgia's injuries but Florida has had it pretty bad too (admittedly that's probably a QB upgrade):

@onlygators: Starting QB, DT, RB, KR, RT all out for the season for the #Gators.

I wonder if either Mizzou or Florida will score an offensive touchdown this weekend.

Really hoping Mizzou can hold off the gators because Im going to the USC game. Staying in Jefferson City because there is no room at any inn in Columbia.

He obviously got out of control to get maced, but people complaining about him standing up during the game? It is a football game, right? Sounds like the blue hairs at the Big House getting pissed when people stand up. If you want to sit down the whole game watch it at home.

Reading the comments, I'm just glad I'm not the only one who looked at that picture and thought "why is that guy defiantly macing himself in the face?"

Notre Dame Stadium is the same way minus the mace (though it's improved a little in recent years). Drives me nuts.

Was it just a case of him standing or being one of those "take it upon yourself to chastise the other fans for not standing up" douchebags?

Worst part is he already got it in the other eye. That's just overkill. The cop's hands are going to be burning too. What an [expletive].

I see Austin Seferian-Jenkins ahead of Eric Ebron in mock drafts but if I were picking a TE in the first round, I'd definitely take Ebron first.

Also, I swear Rece Davis calls Bryn Renner "Brinner."
