Oh shut the [expletive] up Jonny Gomes

He almost made me forget that Lackey sounded completely gone in his interview.

Why would any of you watch the postgame? The Red Sox are still awful awful people, they did their job, no need to watch them celebrate. Once they stopped showing sad Mike Matheny I flipped to Conan Edited by SouthSideRyan

The best part is that under the new CBA, all the free agents are now fair game, right? No need to wait for filing or anything. The offseason is finally about to begin.

How long do teams have to make qualifying offers to their own FA? Wouldn't FA start after that deadline?

If I'm reading it right, they have five days from tonight.

So that's really when it starts? Even if you can technically sign guys now teams are going to wait to see who gets QO's and who doesn't, I'd imagine.

I'm not sure if this is accurate, but I pulled these dates from elsewhere:

November 4: Last day to make the Qualifying Offer

November 5: Free agents eligible to sign with teams

November 11: Last day for players to accept Qualifying Offer

December 2: Non-tender deadline

December 9-12: Winter Meetings

I would rather watch the Cardinals celebrate than watch Conan.

I do not get the hate at all. Pedroia, Ortiz, Ellsbury, Pedroia, etc. are [expletive] bosses...did I mention Pedroia? Because dude is hilarious. And really [expletive] good at baseball.

I definitely hated Beckett, but he's gone.
