In today's pointless news story of the day, Urlacher says that every Bear player reached out to him after he retired except Jay Cutler.

Why is he STILL talking?

Because Fox pays him money to.

Seriously, what kind of question is that?

Yeah. This was an interview for Yahoo, though.

No matter the outlet, his future employment depends on him staying relevant and in the news. I don't give a crap if Jay Cutler called him after he retired, but to expect Urlacher to not be talking about stuff that happened while he played is asinine.

Jay can do no wrong. I love him far more than I should love a man I'm not related to.

I wish the world would share in the Cutler love we have. Hes a wonderful person with a great personality and most of the world thinks otherwise for some dumb reason.

Game 2 preview up on my blog. Sorry for the delay, but c'mon, it's the Vikings. Adrian Peterson, Jared Allen, Ponder sucks.....blah blah blah. Still, tried to throw out some different angles on this bi-annual matchup.

The field already looked like crap during yesterday's Washington-Illinois game and I hear it's raining now in Chicago. Might help slow down AD.

i'm glad that the world doesn't like him. it makes him the ultimate antihero when we win the super bowl.

While I do agree that Minnesota was keying on Megatron, I don't think they really stopped him. If it weren't for an overturned touchdown call, a few drops that were probably more Stafford's fault than Johnson, and some tipped balls at the line, Johnson would have had a pretty big day last week, and I believe Marshall can have another great game today.

But I did enjoy the write up and agree that the Bears should win this one easily.

Was just about to say this. Field looked horrible last night and can't imagine how bad it is now with all the raining overnight and this morning.

Here's hoping we see something like

Bad field typically hurts the Bears Defense. Gotta tackle that beast with shaky footing.....advantage Peterson.

Does he run well in mud, though? Hopefully the less-than-ideal conditions contribute to an AP fumble or two :)
