I haven't seen anything along those lines. Daytona's schedule has been really wonky since then, so it could be some combination of that and maybe skipping/delaying Pierce's starts to help keep his IP down. Cates is starting tonight, and he also started the day before Johnson's last start, so as long as today and tomorrow's games get played, I would hope that we see Johnson tomorrow.

Unless they trade off Valbuena and/or Ransom, September probably. I don't see the point in rushing him when Valbuena/Ransom is doing just fine and he's yet to prove he's capable of sustaining solid production at the AAA level.

Hopefully he doesn't, and just rakes in AAA the rest of the year.

In Kane County, Paniagua sucks again. Gave up 3 ER and 3 hits in a first but did work around a leadoff single and his own throwing error in the 2nd. Amaya and Almora got out first time thru but both just walked. Vogelbach walked in the 1st but just Kd with the bases loaded.

I'd bet heavily is dealt before too long. He's a nice sweetener to get something better in a deal.
