Poor Holliday, cry me a river.

Now, only If Yadi were next....

There would need to be about 4 or 5 of those to actually do any damage to that team.

Len puts a shout out to the cubs.com message board posters? Yech. Their moms probably all made them go to bed already anyway. Edited by Illini Iceman

Cub insider they had in the booth said he thinks Bryant will make it to Chicago in 2016. Couldn't he be up next September if everything works out?

2016 would be a bit late, but 2014 is super optimistic. Not impossible, but it would require him absolutely nuts mashing every level.

So, 2015 is what you're saying? :-)

Good to see some regression to the mean for Edwin Jackson the last couple starts. Only took half a season.

Sometime in June 2015 would be the absolute best case scenario. Next year rake in Daytona in the first half and Tenn in the 2nd half, rake in Iowa the first part of 2015.

Outside of the passed ball last night where I think he got crossed up, Castillo's been doing a much better job of blocking balls and framing pitches lately.

Not only that, I think they're hitting better than the all time record for average with RISP.

Assuming I searched correctly on B-R, it's 26 points better than any team in history has ever done. They're at .338 coming into today and the second best is the 1950 Red Sox at .312.
