Bryant = Boise or KC or Daytona?

Hope this is true

Hoyer says Bryant would prob start in Boise rather than Kane County since he hasn't played since late May

Jeimer homer

Rademacher is a HR shy of a cycle. Almora 2/3 with a double and a run scored. Jeimer added a walk. Geiger with a HR. Alcantara in the completion game wound up going 3-for-4. Pretty good day offensively so far.

Hey Kyle, say some bad [expletive] about Javy

These AA signed, game-worn batting gloves are awesome. They've arrived and they are as advertised. Awesome, kickass effort in the signature, but only a legible "A" and then blips that go up and down as if his name was "Aiiiiiii Aiiiiiiiiii" without dotting any of the "i"s. We both use the German 7 which is pretty cool, though.

Isn't it about time Almora got a Daytona callup? He's got 160 ABs and sleepwalking through A-.

he's 19, has a BB/K ratio of 7/21 and has played less than half a season of full season ball. let's relax.

I couldn't care less about the 7 walks, personally. He's striking out in less than 12% of his at-bats. He has an on-base percentage that is pushing .400. It's not his fault if he is swinging at strikes, getting hits, and getting on base before the walks. To my knowledge he's not know as a "hacker". He's supposed to be off-the-charts in terms of baseball intelligence. He knows he's not going to slug .500 long-term. He'll take his walks when he's not teeing off of the opposition. I don't have a problem if they want to leave him at A- ball for a little longer considering his age, but I could totally understand a promotion, too.

i'm not that concerned about the walks; i'm just saying that he's 19 years old and has played less than half a year at low A, so i don't really see the need to push him to daytona yet. especially since they play like twice a week.

Pretty much this and especially the rainout thing. It was brought up somewhere in some thread recently about an Almora promotion, him and Baez last year in KC had very similar WOBA at this point of the season and if they have the same relative promotion plan for Almora as they did for Baez we should be seeing a call up sometime within the first 10ish days of August. That is when Almora would get to the same amount of ab's +/- of where Baez was last year when he was promoted to Daytona.
