At least for one game, King James, Jesus Shuttlesworth, The Truth and KG may be headed to the backs of NBA jerseys.

 

Some members of the Miami Heat have been told the NBA is considering having them and the Brooklyn Nets wear "nickname jerseys" in at least one of their four matchups this season. The NBA has not announced the plan, but teams apparently have been aware of the likelihood of it happening for at least several weeks.

The NBA is expected to make a major change to its traditional Finals schedule, ending the 2-3-2 format and returning to the 2-2-1-1-1 game rotation used in all other playoff rounds, multiple sources told ESPN.com.

Apparently Magic leaving was his idea. He told ESPN today that he'd be leaving due to other commitments.

Not that that takes much. I'm pretty sure my 5 yr old has a better grasp of the English language than Magic. He's hard for me to listen to.

I heard Magic speak at a private event in which he was stumping for a political candidate. He was beyond horrible and it sounded like English was his second language.

I have no idea why Magic would dislike Simmons, because Simmons faps over him just as hard as Wilbon on that set. That said, Simmons is surprisingly good, and Magic is terrible.

Agreed and it seems like a made up story that there is a rift between the two and the reason Magic left. Simmons tweeted about it a few days ago and Magic is coming on his podcast this week.

I actually don't think they hate him. They've said some nice things about him at times. I think they are more like a Simmons ombudsman

Making fun of Simmons is good click bait, so I think that has more to do with it than "hating" him.

seems like there's more of personal rivalry between the gawker network and simmons/grantland. deadspin kind of makes fun of everyone, but there's more there when it comes to simmons.
